Opportunity Lockney will organize to provide the following services related to Tourism and Recreation:
Investigate the feasibility of establishing a nature tourism industry in Lockney and the surrounding area.
Investigate the feasibility of establishing a heritage/cultural tourism industry in Lockney and the surrounding area.
Improve Lockney's physical appearance and recreational opportunities, including but not limited to:
Creating an attractive main entrance to the City.
Enhancing the three existing entrances to the City through signage and landscaping.
Build a recreational park facility funded exclusively through grants, possibly in cooperation with other local organization.
Develop a central community gathering location in the heart of the City.
